MONROE — Adam Krebs has been named editor of The Monroe Times, the newspaper announced Tuesday.
Krebs took over the role on an interim basis following the departure of Emily Massingill. After one month in the role, the interim designation was removed. He has spent the last three years with the Times.

A Monroe native, Krebs attended UW-Milwaukee and Highland College in Freeport, Ill. His past newspaper experience includes The Lakeland Times in Minocqua and a previous stint with The Monroe Times as sports editor from 2008-2011.
